This is the homepage of Harita Meenee, independent scholar of the classical world and researcher in women's studies. The website aims at offering well-documented information on a variety of topics which the author has researched, such as the following:

                       - ancient Greece and other pre-Christian cultures

                                  - myths and religious traditions

                                      - symbols and archetypes

                  - women's roles and achievements through the centuries.

You will also find samples of the author's translations of ancient Hellenic hymns and poems, as well as information about her books and seminars. This is a bilingual site, in which both English and Greek texts are available.
